Oh, Mother, Mother, Mother, Dear Who could be whispering in my ear?

Christian, Ricky, Dante or Rich, These are my guys and I’ll tell you quick.

So much to do, it’s hard to find time, Working, cooking, singing nursery rhymes.

It’s time I did something just for me, To connect my spirit, mind and body.

I pledge to eat healthy and exercise, And keep a journal so there’ll be no lies!

For the better part of my life, I have been a caretaker for others.
Married for 22 years and the mother of three boys, it’s a challenge to find time for myself. I’m so used to being called mom, it’s a wonder I can even remember my name.

I’m Karen Ficarelli, and I’m not just a girl who likes to exercise.
My true passion is helping others. That’s why I developed Fitness4Her. A diet and exercise program that is designed especially for women. I know what it’s like to be busy, but I also know how important it is to be healthy.

Listen, if you are like me, you cherish your loved ones.
So why not do something today to preserve your health so you’ll be around for all those tomorrows? You know what I’m talking about: the ball games, the proms, the graduations, the marriages and the newborn babies. You’ll want to be healthy so you can enjoy all of these events with your family.

I truly believe that everyone has a dream.
Whether it’s to make a million bucks, finish a race or lose weight, people have goals that deep down they really want to achieve. It’s just that sometimes it’s hard to know where to begin.

It all starts with desire.
Without desire, a dream never goes very far. It’s hat longing, yearning feeling you get when you want to change something about yourself or your life. Do you have the desire to transform your body through diet and exercise?

I was like you.
Not long ago, I found myself wishing for a healthier body and one that could keep up with my growing boys. I was so busy I couldn’t see how I was ever going to find time to exercise. That’s when I decided to create 30 minutes a day to devote to my dream.

Let me tell you, it wasn’t easy.
Having the desire for a goal is one thing, but being able to take a dream to the next stage is a whole different challenge. I had to make myself exercise at least 6 days a week. It took a lot but I was committed to succeed.

Believe it to achieve it.
Are you having trouble committing to a fitness program? Have you tried and tried but can’t seem to stay motivated? Sometimes it’s because you aren’t convinced that you can do it. That’s why you must believe it to achieve it.

Visualize the new you.
That’s one of the things that helped me when I first started working out. I would visualize the body that I desired for myself and I could almost see myself transforming in front of the mirror.

Next, make a plan to get started.
You probably make plans for many things in your life, financial, family, even vacation plans. But have you made a real plan to begin a fitness program that will give you the body that you desire?

It’s more than just aesthetics—it’s a way of life.
Of course fitness isn’t just about a beautiful body. It is so much more than that. Eating healthy and staying fit are the keys to health and longevity.

My passion is simple.
Like I told you before, I am passionate about helping others. There’s an overwhelming sense of joy that comes from witnessing the beauty of change in others. Many ladies that I work with embrace a newfound sense of confidence as they become more physically fit. That’s what you can expect when you take control over your life and commit to a healthy lifestyle.
